FRAMINGHAM -- The Hornets made a long drive and a quick exit from the State Vocational tournament with a 5-1 loss to Keefe Tech.
The Hornets fell into a 4-0 deficit by the end of the first 40 minutes.
"This is one of the best teams I’ve seen in the four years I’ve coached," McCann coach Adam Kozik said. "Great ball control and they just run off the ball really well. Constantly moving."
Shane Fuller scored for the Hornets in the second half after Keefe had made it 5-0.
While McCann is out of the vocational tournament, it has an 11 seed in the Western Massachusetts Division III tournament. It travels to Sabis for a 2:30 p.m. game Friday.
