ADAMS -- Miss Adams Diner owners Philomene and Ric Belair hosted a wedding for one of their own on Oct. 21, when one of the diner’s waitresses, Rebecca Ann Teahl, was married to her fiancé, Tony Paulyk, outside the restaurant, with Ric Belair officiating as "minister of the Miss Adams Diner."
Paulyk told the Transcript the wedding was planned in under six weeks by the restaurant’s owners, and family, co-workers and friends attended, with several coming from great distances.
The ceremony was followed by a favorite meal of the bride and groom -- a dinner of roast beef with mashed potatoes and peas -- in the restaurant’s dining room.
Paulyk also reports the couple is "proud to name our daughter after Philomene."
