POWNAL, Vt. -- State police are looking for a man they say is accused of passing a bad check at a local furniture store.
According to Vermont State Trooper Wayne Godfrey, James J. Radler, 50, of Barre, purchased an item on Oct. 26 at the Pownal View Barn on Route 7 using a bad check. Godfrey said he learned of the complaint on Nov. 5 and said Radler has not been located. Godfrey wrote that Radler has two warrants out for his arrest on similar allegations --one from Vermont, the other from another state.
