NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:

* Miriam Manda, 23, of Gentry Road in Chattanooga, Tenn., admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor. Manda was fined $600 and given a 45-day loss of license. The case was continued without a finding until Nov. 12, 2013.

* James F. Partridge, 28, of Winter Street in Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of animal cruelty. Patridge was fined $340.

* Jennifer B. Carrigan, 36, of Bonair Avenue in North Adams, was arraigned on three counts of identity fraud. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 27.

* Charles W. Wemette, 46, of West Shaft Road in North Adams, was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, failure to stop/yield, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession of a Class A drug. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 18.

* Michael J. Oleskiewicz Jr., 28, of Hall Street in North Adams, was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 10.

* Jackee B. Daniels, 25, of Enfield

Street in Hartford, Conn., was arraigned on three counts larceny over $250 and a single count of carrying a dangerous weapon. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 18.

* Matthew White, 21, of Mill Street in Adams, was arraigned on charges of making an improper turn and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 17.

* Tobin M. Rogers, 43, of Canaan, N.Y., was arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no inspection sticker. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 10.

* Harley D. Shephard, 25, of Yale Street in North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor. Shephard was fined $700 and given a 45-day loss of license. The case was continued without a finding until Nov. 13, 2013.

* James M. Belanger, 39, of Union Street in North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of assault and battery. Belanger was given probation until Nov. 13, 2013 and a suspended sentence of one year in a house of correction.

* Tyler E. Dalzell, 19, of North State Road in Cheshire, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of larceny over $250 and breaking and entering a building at night for a felony. Dalzell was ordered to pay $2,590 in restitution. The case was continued without a finding until Nov. 14, 2013.

* Steven Whitney, 33, of Chase Avenue in North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty on a charge of disorderly conduct. Whitney was fined $125.

* Travis R. Manning, 20, of Brier Road in Savoy, was arraigned on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield and possession of liquor by a person under 21.

A warrant was issued for the following person:

* Cheryl E. Herring, 39, of Summer Street in Adams, on three counts possession of a Class E drug.
