NORTH ADAMS -- North Adams Public Library would like to announce a special paver installation. The flag pole at the library is given in memory of Sfc. Robert Swain, a loyal library patron, and is dedicated to all veterans who have served and who walk through the doors of the library.

In connection with that statement, the library is creating a limited amount of pavers for this special purchase program for the area around the flag pole to be surrounded by our local veterans. Each individual paver will be inscribed with the insignia of the branch of the service they served (Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines and others) along with their military rank, first name, middle initial and last name. Other insignias are available such as US Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, National Guard and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Applications are available at the library and can be printed off the library's website at www.naplibrary.com. The cost of each paver is $150 and payment with the application. Submit a DD-214 with the application. These pavers will be installed in the spring of 2013 with a dedication ceremony.

If you have any questions contact the library at 413-662-3133.
