ADAMS -- The Town Hall Gallery's Holiday Village exhibit, with more than 200 pieces in the collection, is on view through the end of the year.
An opening reception will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, at the Town Hall, in conjunction with the traditional tree lighting ceremony at the Town Common from 2 to 5 p.m. Santa will arrive at 3:30 p.m. and the tree will be lit at 4 p.m. Prior to Santa's arrival, free horse-drawn wagon rides will be available as well as free hot chocolate and cookies.
This year's trees were donated by Eugene and Elizabeth Ziemba and Joseph and Theresa Alibozek.
The show is sponsored by the Town of Adams and the Adams Events Planning Committee.
The nonprofit gallery at 8 Park St. showcases the artwork of county residents. The gallery is free and open to the public weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
