NORTH ADAMS -- The Department of Conservation & Recreation's Visitors Museum at Western Gateway Heritage State Park will offer as part of Native American Heritage Month, "Cahokia: The Mound Builders," on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 3 p.m.

Cahokia was the largest and most influential Native Ammerican urban settlement which developed advanced societies across much of what is now the Southeastern United States, beginning more than 500 years before European contact.

Western Gateway Heritage State Park is south of the Hadley Overpass on Route 8. The Visitors Museum is in building No. 4. Information: 413-663-6312.
