Pownal Valley Fair bazaar to be Dec. 1

POWNAL, Vt. -- The Pownal Valley Fair Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at American Legion Post 90 on Route 7.

This is one of the many fundraisers for the fair and fireworks for the town.

There will be crafters, a bake sale, large Chinese auction, large tag sale, raffles and kids’ games. There will be surprises for the children.

Santa will be there with a prize for each visitor from noon to 2 p.m.

The American Legion Auxiliary will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a soup and sandwich plate, including a beverage. There will also be hot dogs and chili with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and pink lemonade.
