Celebrate the season by taking to the trails on a Hoosac Range Boreal Forest hike at Savoy State Forest, Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Experience beautiful views and high elevation on an early winter hike thru the boreal and mixed hardwood forests up Spruce Hill to a vista on the Hoosac Range (Algonquin word meaning "place of stones") with great views of Mt. Greylock and Southern Vermont.
