SAN ANTONIO -- Williams scored the first goal but three straight from Ohio Northern assured the Polar Bears of a 3-2 victory in the national semifinals.
User Kushaina put the Ephs ahead in the ninth minute but Nate Bascom answered in the 16th for Ohio Northern. Williams trailed 3-1 in the second half before Peter Christman made it 3-2 with less than two minutes to go. The Ephs would not score again. Than Finan made eight saves for Williams.
Williams women's basketball
WILLIAMSTOWN -- Ellen Cook scored 15 points and Grace Rehnquist added 11 off the bench to lead the Ephs to a 68-52 win over RPI. Danny Rainer chipped in with 10 points.
Williams built a 17-point lead after scoring 38 points in the first half. The Ephs shot 40 percent from the field.
MCLA women's basketball
SALISBURY, Md. -- Danielle Scolpino scored 20 points, one of four Trailblazers in double figures, to fuel a 78-71 win over Lehman.
Danielle Beauchamp had 19 points off the bench for MCLA. Kait Chenevert had 15 while Lucy Tremblay added 13.
The game was tied at halftime but MCLA scored nearly 50 points in the second half to pull out the win.

TROY, N.Y. -- Vernon Cross's 21 points helped the Trailblazers to a big offensive night in a 98-86 win over Southern Vermont. Ruben DelRosario and Paul Maurice added 14 points each off the bench.

WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Ephs scored two goals in each of the last two periods to pull away for a 5-3 win over Tufts. Williams fired 41 shots on goal, getting goals from five different players. David Jarrett's power-play tally in the second put Williams up for good.

Utica 3, Williams 0
UTICA, N.Y. -- The hosts scored a goal in each period for the win.
Williams managed just seven shots over the first two periods, finishing with 19 for the game.
Rachel Nguyen made 29 saves for the Ephs in the loss.
