LENOX -- State Rep. William "Smitty" Pignatelli will present the trophy and cash prizes to winners of the second Lenox Caroling Festival in ceremonies beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, in Studio 3 at Shakespeare & Co.'s Bernstein Performing Arts Center.

Pignatelli will tender a cash prize of $2,000 to the ensemble winning first place, and in addition, present a new perpetual trophy that will be inscribed with the name of the victorious chorus.

Second and third place groups will receive prizes of $500 and $250, respectively, in the ceremonies, which will include performances by the eight ensembles competing in the festival, along with caroling by all those in attendance.

On Saturday, each chorus will perform in 20-minute sessions from 11 a.m. until 12:50, and from 2 until 3:50 p.m. at five locations in Lenox Village.

The sites include Alta and Mary Stuart Collections on Church Street, Casablanca on Housatonic Street, Evviva on Walker Street, and Nejaime's Wine & Liquor Shop on Main Street.
