WILLIAMSTOWN -- Local author and curator Tom Fels will be at Water Street Books, 26 Water St., on Thursday, Dec. 13, beginning at 6 p.m.

He will read excerpts from his new book, "Buying the Farm: Peace and War on a Sixties Commune." Books will be on hand for sale and signing.

The event is free and open to the public.
