No one contacted us to identify this little girl, so off we went to the microfilm files. The original caption, which ran Nov. 25, 1996, read: Laura Whitney, 6, made herself comfortable in one of the laundry baskets on wheels at The Laundry Club in North Adams one day recently to watch a little television while her mother did some laundry.
