NORTH ADAMS -- North Adams Triad held its regular monthly meeting Nov. 28, with 41 members attending. The secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and accepted.
Elections were held with Pearl Mullett being re-elected president, Rose Gaspardi re-elected as vice president/secretary, and Alice Samia was elected as treasurer.
Guest speakers were Cindy Shogry-Rainer, senior vice president of Risk Management, and William O’Connell, senior security officer, both from Greylock Federal Credit Union, discussing bank scams and what precautions one should take.
Raffle winners were Marie Harpin and Betty Senay.
There will be no December meeting. The annual Christmas party will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19, at noon, at the Boston Seafood Restaurant. State Rep. Gailanne Cariddi with be the guest speaker.
The next regular meeting will be held Jan. 23, at noon, at the North Adams American Legion. The refreshment committee will be Pat and Henry Babcock, Fran and Al Bedini, John and Donna Herzig, and Ann and Gus Mowe. All are encouraged to arrive early to set up.
New members and guests are always welcome.
