NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday:
* Kelly J. Gancarz, 38, of Bracewell Avenue in North Adams, was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Jan. 29, 2013.
* Angelika S. Ostrowski, 24, of Houghton Street in North Adams, was arraigned on a charge of aggravated assault and battery. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Feb. 1, 2013.
* Christopher A. Peters, 29, of Furnace Street in North Adams, was arraigned on a single count of larceny over $250 and two counts of malicious destruction of property over $250. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Jan. 29, 2013.
* Mahadi S. Thompson, 31, of Pittsfield, was arraigned on charges of larceny from a person and larceny from a building. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Dec. 31, 2012.
A warrant was issued for the following person:
* William D. Lacosse, 33, of Spring Street in North Adams, for failure to appear after being summoned on a charge of larceny by check under $250.
