POWNAL, Vt. -- Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of copper from a home on Route 7 and are encouraging anyone with information to step forward.
According to state police, the theft from a residence owned by Ronald Bisson at 5705 Route 7 took place between Dec. 9 and Monday. The entire basement was completely gutted of all copper piping, resulting in damages of more than $6,000.
