BENNINGTON, Vt. -- The First Baptist Church will hold its Christmas Eve service on Monday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. The service will feature familiar Christmas carols and scripture readings, which accompany the church’s gradual lighting of the Advent candles.
Accompanying the service music will be First Baptist’s new organist Charles Olegar, who offers the music of J.S. Bach and Henri Mulet. A freewill offering will be taken to support the ministry and mission of First Baptist.
The Rev. Jerrod H. Hugenot will deliver the evening’s message: "Look carefully and you will see."
