NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Friday:
*Steven J. Burdick, 22, of Tyler Street in Pittsfield, was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and uttering a false check. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Jan. 17, 2013.
*Luis A. Rivera, 31, of North Street in North Adams, was arraigned on charges of larceny under $250, larceny over $250, and assault and battery. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Feb. 15, 2013.
*Harrison O. Spence, 25, of Herman Avenue in North Adams, was arraigned on a charge of violating a harassment-prevention order. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Feb. 11, 2013.
*Thomas L. Lesnick, 57, of Arnold Court in Cheshire, was arraigned on charges of a marked-lane violation and for a fourth offense of operating under the influence. Lesnick will be held without bail at the Berkshire House of Correction until his pretrial hearing on Dec. 28.
*Nagge A. Manns, 21, of Tilton Road in Savoy, was arraigned on charges of distributing a Class D drug, carrying a dangerous weapon and speeding. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Feb. 19, 2013.
*Alicia Giorgi, 23, of Ashland Street in North Adams, was arraigned on
Warrants were issued for the following people:
*Jonnie E. Basinger, 23, of Beaver Street in North Adams, for failure to appear for a pretrial hearing.
*Patricia Howard, 52, of Oak Ridge in Albany, N.Y., for failure to appear after being summoned. Howard was scheduled for arraignment on a charge of receiving stolen property under $250 and improper use of a credit card.
