Clarksburg Seniors hold Christmas party

CLARKSBURG -- The Clarksburg Senior Club held its annual Christmas party at the Bounti Fare Restaurant with 46 members attending.

Alice McLain was the chairwoman for the event.

The tables were decorated with poinsettia plants and favors made by Eunice Boulger.

Liana Knox was winner of the 50/50. Poinsettias were won by Alice McLain, Betty Boucher, Peggy Stefanski, Norma Williams, Marlene Olds and Marguerite Cross. Gifts donated by board members were won by Ruth Davis, Dot Greenlaw, Jane Cook, Eileen Richards, Mary LeBeau, Bessie LaPine, Madeline O’Neil, Marguerite Cross, Joan Haskins and Martha Robare.

The next meeting will be the first Thursday in March 2013, with board members in charge of refreshments.
