NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday:
* Christopher A. Peters, 29, of Furnace Street in North Adams was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 29.
* Shawn Herbert Jr., 25, of Sandy Acres in Pownal, Vt. was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting over $100 by concealed merchandise. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 1.
* Nicole E. Emala, 20, of Spring Street in North Adams was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting over $100 by concealed merchandise. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 1.
* Robert Wilkins, 45, of State Street in North Adams was arraigned on charges of witness intimidation, assault and battery and aggravated assault and battery. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 28.
* Erien W. Rawlins, 24, of Cass Street in Springfield was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute and possession of a class D drug with intent to distribute. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 8.
* Gerald H. Richardson, 28, of West Main Street in North Adams was arraigned on a charge
Warrants were issued for the following people:
* Michael E. Larocque, 47, of Prospect Street in Cheshire on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
* Jackee D. Daniels, 25, of Enfield Street in Hartford, Conn. on charges of three counts larceny over $250, carrying a dangerous weapon and larceny under $250.
* Christopher R. Tague, 25, of High Street in North Adams on charges of assault and battery, disturbing the peace and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
