NORTH ADAMS -- Court Margaret, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 6 p.m., in St. Elizabeth's Parish Center.
Mary Caffrey, Alma Benedetti and Gerry Brassard are co-hostesses for the evening's social.
At the Dec. 12 meeting, Mary Keator, of Lenox, was welcomed as a future Catholic Daughter. She will be installed as a member of Court Margaret in the early spring by district deputies Mary Ann Gruszecki and Alice Samia. Justyna Carlson, regent, will assist.
The court voted to award the Citizens for Life program a monetary gift to sponsor a participant to the national march on Jan. 25 in Washington, D.C.
The members also voted to give a donation to Rev. William F. Cyr, chaplain of the court and pastor of St. Elizabeth's Parish, for Christmas flowers for the altar.
Carlson and Samia, treasurer, were voted by Court Margaret to serve as delegates at the 48th biennial state convention, to be held April 26 through 29 at the Plymouth Radison Hotel.
