WILLIAMSTOWN -- Christine Lavin and Bernice Lewis will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, at Goodrich Hall on the Williams College campus in conjunction with Lewis' Winter Study Program class, "The Contemporary Singer-Songwriter."
On Friday, Jan. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m., Lewis and Lavin will offer a master class on songwriting in the Makepeace Lounge, Greylock Dining Commons.
Lewis will host the final performance of the series, showcasing her students from the Winter Study Program classes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24.
All events are free and open to the public.
Lavin is a singer/songwriter/ guitarist/recording artist living in New York City. Her latest solo album is "Cold Pizza For Breakfast."
Lewis has been a national touring artist for three decades. She is the artist associate in the Music Department at Williams College, where she has taught songwriting and performing for 17 years.
