ADAMS -- Free tax preparation will be offered at the Adams Council on Aging from noon to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Feb. 6 through April 3.

This service is available to all middle and low income taxpayers with special attention to those age 60 and older.

Volunteers trained in cooperation with the IRS will assist taxpayers in filling out returns.

This service is not limited to members of AARP. Appointments are required by calling (413) 743-8333.

The COA is at the Visitors Center, 3 Hoosac St.
