NORTH ADAMS -- Marine Pvt. Neil Gillooly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Gillooly of 90 Veazie St., is currently participating in a combined Marine-Navy training exercise in the Caribbean. The exercise is scheduled to last two months. Pvt. Gillooly entered the Marines in December and is assigned to the 3rd Battalion of the 8th Marine Regiment. CLARKSBURG -- Awards were presented to nine members of Cub Scout Pack 62 at a meeting conducted by Cubmaster Forrest Sherman. Bobcat pins were given to Michael Langlois and Gary Canedy; Wolf badges to Keith Morris, John Langlois, John Keizer and James Sweeney; a gold arrow point to James Coty; and silver arrow points to Dennis Pankievich and Richard Peck.

NORTH ADAMS -- Robert Hutchinson and Chuck Whitney of Century 21 of New England's Regional Office Honored Century 21, Harold Dupee Realtors of North Adams and Adams with quarterly awards. Linda Noyes and Barbara Wagner were honored with the Top 10 Award. Robert Duguay, Shelley Gyurasz, Martin Cristofolini, Mike LaVersa, Barbara Wagner and Frances Buckley received awards for selling more than $1 million of real estate in 1987.

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Andrew Kawczak of 46 D St., North Adams, has joined Williamstown Realty as an associate salesperson for residential and commercial sales. He has been employed by General Electric Ordnance Systems Division for

CLARKSBURG -- Scott Bailey, son of Stephen and Marianne Bailey of Clarksburg, and a student majoring in performance music at SUNY Potsdam in Potsdam, N.Y., has been named to the President's List for the fall semester. To achieve the honor of President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically graded semester hours with a minimum grade point average of 3.5.

CLARKSBURG -- Sarah Bernardi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bernardi of Clarksburg, and Megan Galli, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Galli of North Adams, were named to the dean's list at New England College in Henniker, N.H., for the fall semester. Bernardi is a teacher certification major and Galli is an education major.
