CHESHIRE - The Hoosac Valley Guidance Department will host a college planning night for Hoosac Valley Middle & High School juniors and their parents from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 6, in the school library.

The presentation, "The College Admissions Process: How to Proceed," will include discussions on important topics, including, but not limited to: college entrance testing and test preparation; understanding admissions terminology; researching colleges; and finding the proper "fit" in a school.

The evening will be presented by Hoosac guidance counselor Loriann Moro and guest speaker Joshua Mendel, assistant director of student admissions at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams.
