The Berkshire Woodworkers Guild is accepting scholarship applications from young people pursuing an education in woodworking, cabinet-making, furniture-making or architecture.

Preference is given to applicants from Berkshire County and the neighboring region who are enrolled in a long-term continuous program that leads to certification or a degree in one of these fields.

Applicants should be between 16 and 25 years of age; the maximum amount of each scholarship is $500. The application deadline for the current year is April 1.

Details of the program, applications guidelines and the application form are available on the Berkshire Woodworkers Guild website at www.berkshire
