Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick has lifted the driving ban for Nantucket County & for all communities west of I-91; driving ban lifted statewide as of 4 PM. #MAStorm

North Adams, Adams and Clarksburg have all declared a "state of emergency." Clarksburg's declaration runs through 8 p.m. on Saturday. North Adams declared a state of emergency beginning at noon until 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Adams Town Administrator Jonathan Butler issued a state of emergency that begins at 3 p.m. and runs through 3 p.m. on Saturday. Residents are reminded that parking is not allowed on streets and that vehicles interfering with plowing will be towed. Residents are also reminded that pushing or shoveling snow into town roads is prohibited.

Child Care of the Berkshires' Youth Mentoring Program Bowl-a-thon scheduled for Saturday from 1 to 7 p.m. at Mount Greylock Bowl has been postponed. It will be held on March 2 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Mount Greylock Bowl.

All Saints' Episcopal Church, North Adams -- No Saturday Service on February 9.

The Adams Free Library is closed.

The Adams Visitors Center is closed.

The Adams Recycling Center is closed.

The North Adams Public Library is closed.

The North Adams Transfer Station is closed.

The Peter W. Foote Memorial Skating Rink will open at 4 p.m.

Friday

The Drury boys' basketball game scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday has been postponed until Feb. 20 at 5:30 p.m. at Pittsfield High School.

Wahconah at Hoosac Valley has been postponed until Feb. 21.

Pathfinder at McCann Tech postponed until Feb. 20.

Western Mass. Division III Wrestling at Monument Mountain High School has been postponed until Feb. 15 and 16.

Western Mass Swimming at Springfield College has been canceled.
