Northern Berkshire Relay For Life Communications Chair Pat Decker has announced the following fundraisers for various Relay For Life teams. More events will be announced in the future.
* The Al & Rita’s Angels team is offering a discount at Kim’s Kuts Hair Salon in North Adams from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Sunday, Feb. 17. Basic haircuts and basic pedicures will be $10. Call 413-664-0444 for appointments.
* The Johnny’s Journey team will hold a Yankee Candle fundraiser from March 4 until March 25. Orders from the spring catalogue at www.yankeecandlefundraising.com can be emailed to johnnysjourney1010@gmail.com, or call 413-446-9523 with orders.
* The Johnny’s Journey team will hold an ongoing drawing for free haircuts for one year (maximum of 11) and for free chemical service for one year (up to $60.00 value/appointment maximum of 9), until the Relay For Life on May 31 and June 1 at the Noel Field Complex in North Adams.
Tickets are $10 each for the haircuts drawing and $20 for the chemical service drawing. The prize is redeemable at Snip Cut in Pittsfield with hairstylist Jennifer or Morgan Boucher.

People can decorate Pete’s Gun Shop in Adams by purchasing a star for $1 in the color of their choice to symbolize the cancer for which they are raising money. The day of the Relay for Life, these will be moved to Noel Field to decorate the team’s campsite in memory of those who have lost their battle to cancer, are currently fighting their battle and to recognize those who have won and are survivors.
