WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Williamstown Film Festival, which has been hailed as "a world-class festival with a small-town heart" and will celebrate its15th anniversary season in the Berkshires this fall, is accepting submissions.

WFF annually considers a broad spectrum of work: narrative, documentaries, animation, shorts and features. First-time filmmakers are especially encouraged. Since 1999, WFF has screened world, American, East Coast, and New England premieres of more than 400 titles at Images Cinema, MASS MoCA, the Clark Art Institute, and the ‘62 Center for Theatre and Dance.

Applicants may go to www.williamstownfilmfest.com and click on "Submit a Film," then apply either through Withoutabox or by downloading the PDF entry form. Fees are on a rising scale over several submission periods, with final deadline in August. Artists whose films are chosen for this year’s Festival will be notified by mid-September.

WFF’s 15th anniversary season will run Oct. 30-Nov. 3. A slide show of images from last season is may be viewed on the website.
