NORTH ADAMS -- The new barber shop singing group, known as the Educators, will be present for the charter night program next Saturday at Drury High School.
Members are Brian Lobdell, Norman Burdick, Walter Getchell and John Blackmer, all teacher in the Williamstown area.
ADAMS -- Names of the members of the Adams Memorial High School Band, who have been selected to participate in the Tri-State Music Festival, May 24-25 at Tanglewood, were announced. They are Richard Solomon, Robert Leitch, Michael Clarke, Vincent Moderski, Victor Paquette, Norman Richardson, Robert McConnell, Kathleen Stark and Richard Leja.

NORTH ADAMS -- Four new directors were elected to the board of the Visiting Nurse Association of Northern Berkshire at the January board meeting.
They are Diane Balduzy, assistant sociology professor at North Adams State College; Paul Fern, retired Account Manager at Sprague; Jonathan Harraden, supervisor of Work Control and Scheduling at Pfizer, Inc. in Adams; and Antoinette Krens, director of the Women’s Exchange in Williamstown.
NORTH ADAMS -- Steven Iacuessa has been promoted to regional retail vice president of the First Agricultural Bank.
As branch manager of the North Adams office, a position he has held since 1985, Mr. Iacuessa will now take on the expanded duties of coordinating and

CLARKSBURG -- Kristen Morris, daughter of Karen and Robert Morris of Morris Drive, is working at MTV Network’s TV Land this spring through the Field Experience Program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
She is a member of the Class of 2003, and she is majoring in communication.
She is a 1999 graduate of Drury High School, North Adams.
NORTH ADAMS -- Joseph Vivori, son of Joseph and Eleanor Vivori of North Adams, was promoted to the rank of colonel in the U.S. Air Force on Jan. 1.
He is the deputy commander of the 1st Mission Support Group at Langley Air Force Base, Va. Vivori entered the Air Force in 1979.
