PITTSFIELD -- The Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) is soliciting public comments on the proposal voted on by the advisory board at its Nov. 29 meeting regarding a new fare structure.

The proposal looks to streamline the current zone fare structure while remaining revenue neutral, explore unlimited ride pass options, and integrate with MBTA CharlieCard. Detailed information regarding this proposal can be viewed at the BRTA website: www.berkshirerta. com/serviceadvisory.php.

Public meetings to allow for comments on the proposed Fare Structure changes are scheduled for the following dates and locations: Monday, Feb. 25, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, at the City Council Chambers, 10 Main St., North Adams; Monday, Feb. 25, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the BRTA Board Room, One Columbus Avenue, Pittsfield; Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at the Fire Station Meeting Room, 37 State Road, Great Barrington.
