Wild Oats Market to host informal Q&A with local organic farmers Wednesday

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Wild Oats Market is offering an informal question-and-answer session with two local organic farmers from 4 to 5 p.m., on Wednesday, March 13, in the Wild Oats Market café, 320 Main St.

Lisa MacDougall, of Mighty Food Farm in Pownal, Vt., and Jamie Snyder, of Happenchance Farm in Eagle Bridge, N.Y., will answer questions about seed selection, green composting, organic pest control, soil health, raising backyard chickens and more.

There is no cost or need to pre-register for the workshop, which takes place on Wild Oats Market's "Winter Member Appreciation Day."
