FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The MCLA softball team last a pair of games Tuesday by three runs each. It lost 3-0 to Olivet and 7-4 to Pitt-Bradford.
In the first game, Michaela DiNicola and Angelica Perfido were the only Trailblazers (3-7) to record a hit. They each had one as MCLA couldn't solve Jessica Duell.
Olivet had a slim 2-0 lead after the third inning, but tacked on an extra run in the sixth for the final score.
Amanda Meczywor (1-2) took the loss for MCLA.
The MCLA bats woke up in the second game, but it wasn't enough to come back from a 6-1 hole through six innings.
Megan Boyer was a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate with two RBI and a run scored. The other four hits came from four other Trailblazers.
Rayelle Pierson (2-2) took the loss for MCLA.
