WILLIAMSTOWN -- A Northern Berkshire contra dance will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., on Friday, March 15, at First Congregational Church, 906 Main St.

Prior to the dance, a potluck will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a beginner's warm-up at 7 p.m.

All dances are taught and no partner is necessary. Children are welcome with an adult. Bring a water bottle and clean soft-soled shoes to dance in, along with potluck goodies.

Live performers include Steve Howland calling and Eric Buddington leading the band.

Suggested admission is $10. This is a nonprofit event, but funds are needed to pay the performers and for use of the hall.
