* A third of MCLA graduates who were placed in Berkshire County businesses and agencies as interns were recently offered permanent jobs at their internship sites.
* At least 25 percent of MCLA's Berkshire Hills Internship Program (B-HIP) participants found jobs in Berkshire County and other B-HIP non-graduates plan to pursue employment here once they complete their degrees.
* MCLA students who have accepted positions in the Berkshires after graduation were offered an average starting salary of between $35,000 and $45,000.
* Approximately 80 percent of MCLA graduates continue to live and work in Massachusetts. A large number choose to work in areas of state government, for major communications corporations, as K-12 teachers, in the financial services sector and in human service agencies.
* MCLA graduates have been successful in gaining admission to many competitive graduate schools, including but not limited to; The College of William and Mary, Georgetown University, Suffolk University, UCLA, Smith College, Harvard, Tufts,and Michigan State University.
* At least 80 percent of MCLA graduates find a job in their field within a year of graduation.
