WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Williams College Department of Music will present a series of end of semester studio recitals during December on the Williams College campus.

These free events are open to the public.

Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall: Violin students under the tutelage of Joanna Kurkowicz, artist-in-residence in violin;

Sunday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital hall: Chamber Music students under the tutelage of Ronald Feldman, Director of the Berkshire Symphony and Stephen Walt, studio instructor of bassoon;

Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall: Brazilian and Latin Jazz students under the tutelage of Freddie Bryant, visiting lecturer in Africana studies and music and studio instructor of intermediate and advanced jazz guitar;

Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 4 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall: Piano students under the tutelage of Doris Stevenson, artist-in-residence in piano;

Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 5:45 p.m. in Chapin Hall (seating on the stage): Vocal students under the tutelage of Kerry Ryer-Parke, studio instructor of voice;

Friday, Dec. 11, at 4:15 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall: Cello students under the tutelage of Nat Parke, artist associate in cello;

Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 6:30 p.m. in Chapin Hall (seating on the stage): Guitar students under the tutelage of Robert Phelps, studio instructor of guitar.
