NORTH ADAMS -- Hailing from Alberta, Canada, and now based out of New York City, comedian and storyteller Ophira Eisenberg makes the trek to the Berkshires on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 8 p.m., for an Alt Cabaret performance on Mass MoCA’s Club B-10 stage.
Eisenberg is a regular at The Moth, a New York City-based nonprofit organization that conducts live storytelling events, and can frequently be found performing stand-up at many of the city’s comedy clubs.
Mass MoCA presents several Canadian performing artists this summer in conjunction with Oh, Canada, the largest survey of Canadian contemporary art outside Canada to date, with more than 110 works by 62 artists on display in Mass MoCA’s galleries.
Tickets for the cabaret event are $12 in advance, $16 day of show, or $10 for students. Mass MoCA members receive a 10 percent discount. Tickets are available through the Mass MoCA box office, located off Marshall Street, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (every day) beginning June 21.
Tickets can also be charged by calling 413-662-2111 during Box Office hours, or purchased online at www.massmoca.org.
