The Family Resource Center will present a free workshop for parents of young children, "Everyday Parenting Solutions," from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wed nesday, Oct. 10, at the Has kins Center, 210 State St.

The program will be presented by Scott Noyes, parent educator and author of "Positive Discipline -- That Works!" There will be time at the end of this session to answer individual parenting questions.
