ADAMS -- The Berkshire Arts and Technology Charter Public School will host a "sha dow day" on Thursday for sixth- and seventh-grade students interested in transferring into BART for the current school year.
The school will host another shadow day on Monday, Oct. 15, for eighth- and ninth-grade students.
Shadow days provide students with an opportunity to experience classes alongside current BART students. Ad vance registration is required and can be completed by calling Monique Nottke at 413-743-7311, ext. 132.
Applications are being ac cepted for students in grades 6 through 9 for the 2012-13 school year. Enrol lment deadlines are set for each Monday at noon, with a lottery, if necessary, held at 5 p.m. Currently, there are three seats open in the school. The first enrollment deadline for the 2013-14 school year is Monday, Dec. 10, at noon.
