CLARKSBURG -- The Clarksburg Senior Club held their monthly meeting.
Two new members, Dee Garnish and Frankie Williams, were introduced.
A Christmas party is being planned for Dec. 6 at The Freight Yard Pub. Alice McLain is the chairwoman, with Claire Dumoulin assisting. The menu choices are a ham or turkey dinner. The price is $9 for members in good standing and $14 for others. Sign-ups and payment may be made at the Nov. 1 meeting.
A committee of Claire Dumoulin, chairwoman, and Ceil Hebert and Evelyn Stalker, has been set up to revise the bylaws.
Members are reminded that if schools are closed because of bad weather, there will not be a club meeting.
Marie Davis was winner of the 50/50.
The social committee for the Nov. 1 meeting will be Eileen Belanger, chairwoman; Stalker, Ruth Trembly, Marge Walden, Norma Williams, Ann Belanger, Jane Betti, Eunice Boulger and Jean Bryce.
