PITTSFIELD -- The Blues Show, featuring The James Montgomery Blues Band, Popa Chubby and The Arthur Holmes Blues Band will make a stop at The Colonial Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 7:30 p.m..
Legendary harmonica player James Montgomery and his band have toured the globe. Montgomery has toured and recorded with the biggest names in music, including Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, B. B. King, Mick Jagger, Kid Rock, Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers and Steve Miller Band. He has released six of his own albums. He lived for a time in Williamstown during the 1980s.
New York City bluesman Popa Chubby is at the forefront of modern blues. He has released over dozen albums in the U.S. and Europe and currently records for the Blind Pig blues label. He tours continuously throughout the U.S. and Europe and will also perform in India shortly after his performance at The Colonial.
The Berkshire based Arthur Holmes Blues Band will open the show.
