Boy on bike hit by car

Police did not reveal the boy's name due to his young age.

According to police, the driver of the car, whose name was not available last night, was exiting the Dalton Post office at about noon when his car stuck the boy, 14, who was riding his bike eastbound on Main Street.

The boy was transported to Berkshire Medical Center with what an officer described as "severe" injuries.

His condition was unknown last night.
