WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Ying String Quartet will perform at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute on Tuesday, July 31, at 8 p.m., in the first concert in the Clark’s popular Tuesday evening chamber music series.

For its concert at the Clark, the Ying String Quartet will present a "Musical Dim Sum" program -- a program that has allowed the group to extend their repertoire while also celebrating their own cultural heritage. They will perform Mozart’s String Quartet in E-flat Major, K. 428; Musical Dim Sum (featuring Zhou Long’s Song of the Ch’in, Vivian Fung’s Pizzicato for String Quartet, and Lei Liang’s Gobi Gloria); and Debussy’s String Quartet in G Minor.

The galleries will remain open until 6 p.m. Concert tickets are $25 ($20 for Clark members and students) and may be purchased online at www.clarkart.edu or by calling 413-458-0524.

Prior to each 8 p.m. chamber music concert, the Clark offers a three-course fixed-price dinner served in the Clark’s café at 6 p.m. Dinners are $27 per person (does not include beverage, tax or gratuity); space is limited and reservations are required. Reser vations: 413-458-0524.
