Song, dance classes for youth offered

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Min erva Arts Center announces the return of "The Gleekers." MAC’s summer workshop, Gleek Week, will be offered in weekly classes for students, ages 7 and older, in the Youth Chapel at First Congregational Church, 906 Main St.

Inspired by the television show "Glee," students explore dance, song and theatricality ranging from Broadway tunes to modern songs and choreography.

Classes run for eight weeks with a performance at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8. Two sessions are available: 4 to 6 p.m. on Wed nesdays, Oct. 17 through Dec. 5, or 10 a.m. to noon Sat urdays, Oct. 20 through Dec. 1.
