Multi-media artist Julia Morgan Leamon examines the filters of language, media and cultural representation in her work, with an interest in the hidden aspects of normal experience as expressed through gestures, ordinary and sometimes hidden. Leamon views the artistic process as its own sequence of gestures that combine to create the event of art, as well as the object.
