Portrait of the Artist: Hugo Seven

Hugo Seven is a photographer living in North Adams who has an interest in capturing architecture -- both decrepit and majestic -- and nature scenes. Recent photography projects have seen Seven shooting in the abandoned halls of the Conte Middle School and on the shores of Cape Breton in Canada. Seven often mixes his visual work with music, which he creates with his identical twin brother, Harry, as one-half of the band The Mighty Atom. His photography work is part of the art show at Images Cinema, "The Family Seven," on display in February with an opening reception Friday, Feb. 15, at 5 p.m. Seven can be found online at www.itspinswow.com.
