PUTNEY -- The Apron Theater Company announces open call auditions for the 2013 season on Saturday at 1 p.m., and Sunday at 7 p.m., at Next Stage, 15 Kimball Hill.
Auditions will consist of readings from the scripts of the plays -- "The Cripple of Inishmaan" by Martin McDonagh, "WIT" by Margaret Edson and "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller. Scenes will be provided. Registration is advised. Contact Hallie Flower at hallie.flower@gmail.com.
Roles for "The Cripple of Inishmaan" include Billy, 17-28 years old; Helen, 17-28 years old; Bartley, 16-26 years old; BabbyBobby, 30 to 50 years old; Doctor, 30-50 years old; and Mammy, 80-90 years old.
Roles for "WIT" include Harvey Kelekian MD, 50s; Jason Posner MD, late 20s-30s; Susie Monahan RN BSN late 20s - 30s; EM Ashford (female) 70s-80; Mr Bearing, 40s-60s, three or four roles multiple roles (technicians, students, clinical fellows, etc), 20s-30s.
Roles for "Death of a Salesman" include Linda, late 50s to mid-60s; Biff, mid-30s; Happy, early-30s; Charley, mid-60s; Bernard, mid-30s; Ben, mid- to late-60s; Miss Forsythe, late 20s to mid-30s; Letta late-20s to mid-30s; Jenny 20s to 30s; Howard late-30s to mid-40s; and Stanley, early-30s.
