The late Ed Laliberte, a longtime Lee police officer, began the toy fund in 1958; it was renamed in his honor following his death in the early 1980s.
Toys were distributed this week to 132 children from 79 families in the greater Lee area.
Donations to the Laliberte Toy Fund can be mailed to P.O. Box 21, South Lee, MA 01260, or dropped off at the Lee Emergency Dispatch Center in the basement of town hall. Donations will be accepted through Jan. 1.
