City workers thanked for street work

Most of the time, I’m writing about negative things in the city of North Adams, but today, I’ll put a positive spin on a word that most of us never use: "Thanks" to Paul Markland and his crew at the North Adams DPW yard.

Since spring, I have been asking them to fill a lot of potholes and some road work, and this past week, the last one was done on West Main Street at Richview Avenue.

Good job and keep up the fine work. Also, the sidewalks on Marion Avenue are looking very good. Thanks again to all.
