I would like to thanks the Transcript for the correction put in your newspaper on Feb. 15. Even though the correction was hard to find and similarly hard to understand, nonetheless, it was there.
I am referring to the correction for the front-page article in your newspaper of Feb. 13, that referenced the town of Cheshire approving the demolition of the Cheshire Inn. That article referred to: "The town owns the property, having taken it by tax title from former owner David Krutiak in 2011."
I, David Krutiak, would like to pass on that I did not own, nor did I ever own the Cheshire Inn. Also, I do not owe, nor did I ever owe Cheshire any taxes, as we pay our taxes in every town when they are due, and the only way the town of Cheshire has taken any of my property is through eminent domain.
